This isn’t about your computer. Your personal operating system’s code is made of your beliefs about how things should be and what you can do, say, want and have. It’s the reason you have created for why you can’t. It’s your perception about life.
These lines of code (beliefs) are the foundation of how you act and react. If you believe that good things can never happen for you, you get to be right.
How do you interact with the world?
Do you believe that life is struggle? Do you believe that lack of success is because you’re not working hard enough?
Do you believe the universe is against you?
Do you feel unworthy of good things? (Maybe you are not smart enough, not talented enough, or not attractive enough).
Do you believe that life is all about pain and suffering, and that you can only be quiet and endure?
Do you believe that good stuff only happens to others?
Does asking for what you want mean that you are selfish, and that being selfish makes you a bad person? (Do you feel that a good person is one who is selfless and sacrificing and always puts everyone else first?)
Do you have to fight for everything? Do you believe that others will take advantage of you? Do you believe that there are only winners or losers?
Do you identify yourself as your wounded state? Do you think of yourself as a victim?
Do you believe that you have to have to buy your relationships (with your money, time, submission)? Do you believe that others won’t like you unless you make it worthwhile for them?
Do you feel that being yourself means that others won’t like you? Do you feel that speaking up makes others uncomfortable? Is speaking up for yourself inappropriate?
Do you believe in scarcity – that there isn’t enough to go around? Is your strategy to grab as much as you can, or to let others have everything and go without?
Do you assume that your decisions are usually wrong? Are you constantly second guessing yourself? Do you frequently beat yourself up with thoughts of shoulda, woulda, coulda? Are you meaner to yourself than you would be to others? Do you punish yourself for things you are powerless to change?
Free your mind.
Every moment is a new opportunity to determine how you will respond to life. All barriers are self-imposed. You choose how you want to live. Whatever you choose the universe conforms to your expectations. You always get to be right.
You came here to be your true authentic self. You came here to be a conduit of love and to enjoy your time here Your beliefs can be either uplifting or discouraging. You can choose to feel empowered or powerless. You can choose to shine, or not.
You are already enough.
Blessings,
Nicole
