The circle is a basic shape with a variety of applications in energy work. Make a circle with your intention. Imagine a tube of light and place it around something you want to protect. There are endless applications for this tool. It is a boundary. It separates. Here are some ideas to try.

Personal protection

Create a silver circle at the beginning of the day and move through crowds more easily. Surround yourself with a circle when you engage in a physical activity that has some risk of injury, like moving heavy objects. Once while moving things on a high shelf, something shifted and fell from above. The large piece of wood with sharp edges skimmed the perimeter of my shield, completely missing my foot.

Use a circle on your belongings

Before a trip, imagine a silver circle around your car. Visualize it extending at least twenty feet in front and back, and watch nearby cars ease out of your path and create space around you. (This is a great tool for discouraging tailgaters and drivers who might cut you off.)

Put a circle around your bicycle (and the bikes of your children) and create a better safety perimeter.

Parking in a sketchy neighborhood? Create a circle that makes your car invisible and safe from damage.

Expecting a big storm? Create a circle around your home (and car) to protect everything from falling trees and branches. Do something similar when camping for extra protection.

Other applications

In my garden, the gophers were on a rampage and they were especially attacking my beautiful artichoke plants. They had been grown from seed, lovingly transplanted and promised a great harvest. Every morning, I would tend my plants and check on their progress. Then the gophers showed up.  For days, my morning started with the unhappy discovery that one of my beautiful artichoke plants had been severed at the root. Each previously lush happy plant was cut down days before harvest. I was not happy.

I placed a silver circle to surround each plant and designed it to extend down into the soil for several feet. There were no further casualties.

Circles are not permanent. They must be recreated everyday, so remember to reapply daily for best results.

So play with these energy circles. Try creating them in different colors; see what happens when you write on them to generate the kind of attention you want. All you need is your intention and focus to use these tools.
